- Place a pan into your air fryer and preheat at full heat while you prep.
- Cut a hole in one slice of bread.
- Spread mayo on one side of the full slice and both sides of the slice with the hole.
- Slice the tomato and season the egg with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Carefully place the bread mayo side down into the hot pan.
- Crack the egg into the hole and add the provolone, pepperoni, and tomato.
- Air fry at 360°F (182°C) for 5 minutes.
- Add mozzarella cheese and cook at 400°F (204°C) for 90 seconds.
- Add fresh basil, assemble the sandwich, and enjoy that runny yolk.
