
Perfect Air Fryer Chicken Breast (Juicy + Golden Every Time)
Juicy, golden air fryer chicken breast every time—no guesswork. Pound for even cooking, rub with an oil + spice mix, and cook at 380°F until it hits 165°F.

Method
- Preheat air fryer to 380°F for 3–5 minutes (if your model preheats).
- Prep chicken: Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
- Even thickness: Pound the thick end of each breast until the chicken is a more even thickness (helps it cook evenly).
- Make seasoning oil: In a bowl, mix the spices with 1 ½ Tbsp oil to form a paste.
- Coat chicken: Rub the oil-spice mixture all over both sides of the chicken.
- Air fry (first side): Place chicken in the preheated air fryer basket. Cook 8 minutes at 380°F.
- Flip: Flip the chicken breasts.
- Finish cooking: Cook another 10–12 minutes at 380°F, depending on thickness.
- Check temp: Use a meat thermometer and remove when the thickest part reaches 165°F.
- Rest: Let the chicken rest 5 minutes before slicing (locks in the juices).
